All in Travel
This past Monday, I boarded the last regularly scheduled flight leaving Morocco. The night before, the government had announced that it would be closing all borders and prohibiting transit in or out of the country. Despite cancellations of spring break travel, study abroad in Vienna, and the Hamburg marathon all due to coronavirus, the overwhelming emotion I felt while traveling home was gratefulness.
One of the the elements of travel that I have focused on the most, is reducing the items I carry. After a year or two of changes back in 2016, I was able to get down to only taking a single, 21L backpack on trips. Since I have an additional carry on bag for this year abroad, I wanted to test out new organizational methods for managing gear, and decided to try packing cubes.
Interning abroad is a very rewarding experience, though it can sometimes be difficult to work out all of the details. This post will set out some key steps and challenges to be aware of if you are trying to intern abroad, with a focus on finding and securing an internship in Germany as an American student.
I often find insanely cheap flights, and have even made money by flying from Germany to the US before—directly, nonetheless.

Basically, she realized that even as an avid reader, she was completely unfamiliar with most non-English literature, even in her native continent of Europe. A few days ago, I was looking for something to do with a friend back home. We only see each other a few times a year, so I try to plan special trips to make the most of our limited time together. Although I usually have no problem thinking of fun activities, this time I struggled to think of what we would do, until I remembered an article I read a few years back that talked about being a tourist in your hometown.
